The company has evolved itself over the years and is now a full-fledged general trading house with an emphasis on supply & service to diverse sectors of the industry. H.E. Eng Salah Salem Bin Omair Al Shamsi has an enriched 39+ years experience in Petroleum, Oil & Industrial supplies. He has held esteemed positions including President of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, Chairman, President of Federation of UAE/GCC Chamber of Commerce Industry, Managing Director of Emirates Global Capital Corporation Ltd and Executive Director of Hydrocarbon Processing Directorate in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Besides, he is a Board Member of Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (now known as ADNOC Gas Processing) and Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (now known as ADNOC LNG) & others
As Chairman and Managing Director of Emirates Global Capital Corporation Ltd, he led the development of Saadiyat Island in UAE. Specifically, in his 15+years of experience at ADNOC, he has led large projects, in excess of USD 1 Billion and was leading the helm of captive affairs - operation and maintenance of ADNOCs operations - power, gas treatment and gas liquefaction plants, and oil refineries. Among many accolades, he has received World Safety Organization Award, biggest business leaders in the GCC by Forbes, Influential Arab personalities of 2007. H.E. Eng. Al Shamsi holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the North Carolina State University and an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) from the American University of Sharjah (AUS).
